Chautauqua County is under a State of Emergency

WEATHER ALERT: Chautauqua County is under a State of Emergency due to severe weather conditions. Brace for strong winds, freezing temperatures, and Lake Effect Snow starting Saturday, posing potential power outages and life-threatening situations.

Whiteout conditions may make travel nearly impossible. A Travel Ban for empty and tandem trucks/trailers on I-90 and in Western New York started on Saturday at 9 a.m.

Governor Kathy Hocul has mobilized 100 New York National Guard members for Emergency Response Operations.
