Flooding Watch - Saturday thru Saturday Night

The City of Dunkirk wants to advise its residents that according to the US National Weather Service, once winds shift to the southwest and begin to ramp up Saturday, a lake seiche will set up on Lake Erie resulting in lakeshore flooding across Chautauqua, Erie, and Niagara counties. The lake is expected to reach 9 ft above low water datum.
