Free Tours This Weekend - E.M. Cotter Fireboat
The fireboat is both a 15,000 gal/min fireboat and an icebreaker. Built in 1900 it has undergone a couple of major renovations but we believe the oldest still in service fireboat and possibly the worlds oldest still in service piece of firefighting equipment. It weighs in at about 172 tons, is 116' long and drafts about 12 feet.
