Fall Leaf Pickup
City of Dunkirk Department of Public Works announces that a branch & leaf pickup will commence with a week-long sweep starting Monday, November 22nd in Districts A and B. Crews will be by daily to pick-up bagged and barreled leaves. District C and District D will continue the week of November 29th following the same schedule.
Loose leaves and branches will be picked up at a weather permitting pace starting Monday, November 22nd in Districts A and B. If leaves are left loose at the curb, residents are asked to keep leaves clear of receivers and utility poles and out of the street. Please do not mix leaves with branches.
City of Dunkirk residents may also drop brush off at the Public Works facility on Lucas Avenue. Brush Facility Hours are 9am-2pm Monday through Friday and 9am-5pm on Saturdays. When dumping, note the separate pile for leaves, pine and other woods. Please do not mix.
