At the Dunkirk Farmers Market, a variety of fresh produce, preserves, nursery plants, honey, meats and maple syrup and more…

Roberto Fred Farms and Richard Feinen Farms offer a wide variety of vegetables, fruit, herbs, flowers, preserves, honey, and vegetable plants.  Gardens of Eternity offering a range of natural body products, jewelry, handmade washcloths and bathmats, and more. Franklin’s Honey & Apples will be on hand all market season offering their mouthwatering Kettle Korn and other delicious treats.

The market accepts SNAP, and offers the Double Up program. Every dollar in SNAP swiped for shopping at the market (up to $20) will be doubled in Double Up tokens for the purchase of fresh fruits and vegetables. The market also accepts WIC and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) vouchers, WIC VF and Fresh Connect checks.  While the Dunkirk Market only distributes Fresh Connect checks for the first two weeks of market, veterans and service members can obtain them from their Division of Veterans Affairs office, and produce vendors can accept them all season.

COMMUNITY GARDENS

The City of Dunkirk, in order to provide an opportunity to the public to enhance the character of our community, has created a Community Garden Program whereby interested City individuals and groups are allowed to utilize various parcels of City property to establish and to maintain community gardens.
