New Restaurant Opens: 243 Cantina & Grill

243 Cantina and Grill, Cervezas, Seafood & Steak in the City of Dunkirk

Mayor Rosas and the Dunkirk Chamber of Commerce also want to congratulate Juan Hernandez and Mike Wazaney business owners of 243 Cantina and Grill on their new bar and restaurant located at 243 Lake Shore Drive, East. An official ribbon cutting was held on Tuesday, January 24th, 2023, bringing life back into what used to be the old Kettle & Keg restaurant.

   

243 Cantina offers patrons a variety of delicious starters, tasty burgers and seafood & steak dinner entrees plus more. Choices of chicken and salmon sandwiches are served alongside healthy salads and Angus beef burgers such as the Mushroom Swiss and Jalapeno Popper. They even offer a kid’s menu! The recently remodeled interior is modern with an industrial twist but leaves a hint to its former life in its layout. The overall atmosphere is light and airy with a smaller area in the front with additional dining space in the back of the establishment. The hopping bar features trendy well drinks alongside of the regular cold beer standards. The jalapeno margarita will surely be a local hit as customers discover this little gem of an eatery. Residents and passers through are recommended to stop in and try it for themselves. Hours of operation: Closed on Mondays & Sundays, Open on Tuesday - Thursday 4 pm -9 pm, and Friday & Saturday 4 pm-10 pm.
