Mayor Rosas proclaims the weekend of July 15, 2022 "Laurel Run Memorial Walk/Run Weekend" in the City of Dunkirk

Mayor Rosas proclaimed the weekend of Friday, July 15th through Saturday, July 16th as "Laurel Memorial Run/Walk Weekend".  The Laurel Run was established in 1997 by Chautauqua County couple, Wayne and Elaine Hoteling of Silver Creek, in honor of their oldest daughter, Laurel, who was born with special needs, and for other persons with disabilities who are are served by The Resource Center. 

The event seeks to raise public awareness of people with disabilities and that a happy and productive life is possible regardless of intellectual or physical impairments.
