The City welcomes Safe Point Lighthouse Treatment Center

 

The City of Dunkirk is proud to welcome the new Acacia Network-Safe Point Lighthouse Integrated Outpatient Treatment Clinic, located at 303 Main Street, Dunkirk NY. At today's ribbon cutting event, among many other top officials, the Mayor spoke about the City's need for such a treatment clinic, and that it's been long overdue. The center's calming atmosphere and freshly painted walls will serve adolescents and adults in need of substance use services. The commissioner of OASAS, Dr. Chinazo Cunningham indicated, "what good is economic development if you do not help the people utilizing it?"- this center will provide that help. Other distinguished speakers and guest included: Acting Secretary of State Robert Rodriguez, County Executive PJ Wendel, Jamestown Major Eddie Sunquist, President of Acacia Network Rual Russi, Executive Director of Hispanics United of Buffalo Geno Russi, CEO Acacia Network Lymaris Albors, and Chairman of the Board at Acacia Network Carmen Villa-Lugo.
