Street Paving Begins In City

The City of Dunkirk Department of Public Works announces the beginning of the City paving program for the following streets in the City:

Beginning Monday, October 4, 2021: 
Nevins Street (between Courtney and Doughty)
Leming Street (between Pine and Lake Shore)
Ocelot Street (between Pine and Lake Shore)
Beagle (between Lake Shore and Second)
Ruggles (between Main and Talcott)
McDonough (between Sobieski and Bookstaver)

Beginning Wednesday, October 6, 2021:
Willow Road
Courtney Street
Townsend Street (Courtney to railroad tracks)
Hoyt Street (Courtney to railroad tracks)
Lord Street (Courtney to railroad tracks)
Bucknor Street (Courtney to railroad tracks)
Franklin Ave (Courtney to railroad tracks)
Lincoln Ave (Courtney to railroad tracks)
King Street (Courtney to railroad tracks)
McDonough Street (Roberts to Sobieski)
Sobieski Street
Webster Street
Warsaw Street

Residents will receive notice prior to their specific streets being worked on.

The City requests the cooperation of residents with regard to removing parked cars from the streets and in avoiding the areas while this process is taking place.  Please contact Engineering Technician Andy Bohn at 716-366-9837 with any questions.
