Lake Erie Living Awards Dunkirk "Best New Pier"

The City of Dunkirk has recently been awarded “Best New Pier” through Lake Erie Living Magazine. The City was recognized in the September/October 2020 issue of the Best of Lake Erie. Lake Erie Living Magazine reaches the states of New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Michigan, as well as Ontario, Canada.  Some added amenities that our residents can look forward to include a handicap accessible kayak launch, scattered Adirondack chairs on the Pier’s green spaces, large scale Jenga, large scale connect four, and corn hole. We also look forward to the opening of the Pier 30 bar/restaurant, all the great shops and restaurants at our Boardwalk, water recreation, and enjoying the outdoor space at Dimitri’s. In addition we are excited to be working with the new business Sundaze Water Sports, which will be open for recreational rentals at Point Gratiot Park this coming summer.
