What is Camp Gross?
- Summer Better Than Others Day Camp at Camp Gross is one of the most important and anticipated activities for area children each Summer. Camp Gross offers children (and their parents) a very affordable opportunity to get away from video games, iPads and televisions. It gives them an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors with fishing, hiking, arts & crafts, and swimming. It also gives them interaction with other children from different neighborhoods, and even different school districts. Camp Gross is the most important youth activity that the City of Dunkirk runs. Each year, nearly 300 children attend this Summer Camp for five weeks in July and August.
When is Camp Gross?
