Located in the southern section of Point Gratiot Park, owned by the City of Dunkirk, lot is already level and cleared in the previous location of former pavilion. 16 posts on concrete piers with header and prefabricated roof truss. Corrugated metal roof and ceiling selected by owner and purchased by owner. Concrete slab on grade. Any electric will be responsibility of the City.
Quotes should separate time/labor for the pavilion building from time/labor for concrete work.

CDBG Regulations, insurance and Davis-Bacon prevailing wage certified payroll are required.

A new bid or quote may be done in the future for different or partial specifications, but nothing is scheduled at this time. Please check back for any updates. City of Dunkirk Point Gratiot Improvements Project (PY21 CDBG)

• Actual Bid Opening held at 2PM April 24th, 2023, Bids being accepted until 10AM April 24th, 2023
• Intended Start Date: Immediately after Sealed Bid Opening
• Project Completion Date: June 1, 2023

Sealed bids will be received in the City Clerk’s Office located at 342 Central Avenue, Dunkirk NY 14048 starting at 9:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 4th, 2023, until 10:00 A.M. on Monday April 24th, 2023, for the Point Gratiot Improvements Project involving construction of a pavilion with concrete pad whereas the old pavilion previously stood as part of the City’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program.

Beginning on April 4th, 2023, forms and specifications for the work may be obtained at the City of Dunkirk Planning & Development Office, 342 Central Avenue, Dunkirk, New York 14048. Documents will also be available online on the City’s Website RFP Page and listed on NYS Contract Reporter.

Each bid must be accompanied by security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.  No Bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of opening thereof. 

This contract is subject to the higher of the New York Department of Labor and Federal Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wage Rate determinations. Contractors will be required to adhere to NYS DOL prevailing wage schedules in paying wages to employees. The prevailing wage schedules in effect at the time of the contract execution shall control.
