The City of Dunkirk is accepting bids for its Wright Park Improvements Phase II Project. Sealed bids for the furnishing of all labor and material necessary for City of Dunkirk Wright Park Improvements Phase II Project (EPF #191138) will be received by the City of Dunkirk City Clerk at City Hall, 342 Central Avenue, Dunkirk, New York 14048 until 2:00PM local time April 23rd, 2021 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

A Prebid Conference with the City of Dunkirk will be held at Wright Park, 198 Lake Front Boulevard, Dunkirk, NY 14048, on April 16th, 2021 at 1:00 PM local time. Attendance by all those proposing to submit is recommended.  Bidders may also inspect the work site, by appointment only, by contacting Edward Hayes, Deputy Director of Planning and Development at (716) 366-9876.

This is an exempt capital improvement project, and Bidders shall not include in their bid sales and compensating use taxes on the cost of materials which are to be incorporated into the work and which are to be separately sold by the Contractor to the City of Dunkirk prior to incorporation into the work of the Contracts.

The attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contracts.
