The City of Dunkirk, located in the premier Chadwick Bay on Lake Erie is an exciting area full of growing opportunities for both residents, visitors and the business community. Located 45 miles south of Buffalo, NY and within a 140 mile proximity of Toronto, ONT., Pittsburgh, PA and Cleveland, OH, the City is centrally located to multiple major metropolitan areas, yet far enough removed to offer a slower pace and better quality of life.

Here in the Development Office we are continuously searching for new opportunities to fuel our revitalization. Our focus for development and revitalization includes waterfront development, downtown revitalization, responsible land use planning, creating walkable neighborhoods that are attractive and distinctive, residential and commercial investment incentives, and improving the overall residential and tourist experience.
