Use of the City of Dunkirk Website's Community Calendar is available to non-profit and community based organizations. (Private businesses may list free or subsidized events/programs that promote the welfare of the Dunkirk community and are not for profit or advertising purposes.) In order for your event/program to be posted the following criteria must be met:

1. The listing must be submitted to SUNY Fredonia/Dunkirk Community Partnerships (COPC), in writing or electronically, on the appropriate form. Listing must contain contact name and number.
2. The listing is a legitimate event/program that is beneficial to the community and is essentially cultural, educational, or civic in content. The listing cannot be used for commercial purposes. The Community Calendar is not for personal or political gain or propaganda.
3. The listing may advertise an event or activity for which there is a fee or donation requested as long as the sponsoring organization is cultural, educational, or governmental AND the fee or donation is for a non-profit organization or cause. (Example: All proceeds of an event will go to a legitimate charity).
4. The listing is not for religious worship services. Religious institutions may announce events/programs that serve the community such as clothing drives, free counseling services, food pantry, etc.
5. The listing includes no instruction on how to vote, either for a candidate or a political party. Announcements for political party meetings are not permissible. Announcements for governmental meetings or workshops are allowed if it is open to all in the community and is not affiliated or organized to promote a political party or candidate.

FINAL INCLUSION OF ANY SUBMISSION IS AT THE COMPLETE DISCRETION OF THE WEBMASTER. CHANGES TO SUBMISSIONS MAY BE MADE FOR AESTHETIC PURPOSES AND TO COMPLY WITH THE POLICIES LISTED ABOVE.

Please provide event/program information two weeks or more prior to an event to ensure listing. Please allow at most one week for listing to be posted once you have submitted the form. Listings come from a variety of sources and cannot be guaranteed to be error-free. Please contact Indo from COPC at (716) 363-6352 if you have any questions regarding your listing.
