City of Dunkirk Beaches

Point Gratiot Beach
Located on the shores of Lake Erie within the Point Gratiot complex, the "Point" beach is a pristine beach that is enjoyed by swimmers and sunbathers alike. Plenty of parking and easy access to the beach makes for an enjoyable time while visiting the Point Beach.

Wright Park Beach
Located along Lakefront Boulevard in the Wright Park complex, Wright Park Beach is a popular family beach. Lifeguards are on duty from noon to 7pm daily from July 1 to Labor Day. Swimmers, sunbathers, and boaters all enjoy Wright Park Beach. Adjacent to the beach is Lakefront Boulevard which is the site of many classic car shows. Plenty of free parking, bathroom facilities, and a concession stand are available.

Main Street Beach
Located at the foot of Main Street on the shores of Lake Erie, this beach is perfect for boaters and sunbathers who want to be left alone. The shallow waters make it easy for boaters to access the beach area. No lifeguards are on duty at Main Street Beach!

All of our beaches are admissions free with free parking. We ask that you abide by the park rules and regulations when visiting our beaches.
